Joon CHUNG, Ph.D.
Founder, CEO & Chairman of the Board, SOLiD, Inc.Dr. Joon Chung is the founding CEO and Chairman of SOLiD, since its inception in November 1998. SOLiD, a KOSDAQ listed enterprise, is currently a global leader in proving in-building wireless coverage solutions to customers in over 30 countries.
In 2003, Dr. Chung was recognized as one of 40 technology pioneers by the World Economic Forum (Davos Forum). In 2015, he was elected as Chairman of the Korea Venture Business Association, the leading industry association of over 13,000 technology companies in the nation. After serving as Chairman of the association between 2015-2017, he continues to hold the position of Honorary Chairman.
To date, Dr. Chung continues to give back to the community in various capacities. Dr. Chung received his BS degree, summa cum laude, in Electronics Engineering from Seoul National University in 1986, and his MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1988 and 1993, respectively.
Mrinmoy Chakraborty
Founding CEO, SOLiD InspireMrinmoy is the Founding CEO of SOLiD Inspire, bringing over 23 years of global experience in leading technology-driven transformations across Korea, India, the US, Saudi Arabia, and the UK.
Throughout his career, he has successfully spearheaded industry-defining digital transformations in sectors such as retail logistics, manufacturing, banking, commercial real estate, and transportation. Prior to founding SOLiD Inspire, Mrinmoy held leadership positions at Cypress Semiconductor, Xchanging, and OnMobile.
After completing his Master’s in Business Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business as a Sloan Fellow, he co-founded his first IoT startup in 2010 and has since been a serial tech-preneur. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Management from Warwick Business School, focusing on the application of Artificial Intelligence in developing transformation strategies.
Mrinmoy also holds an MBA from IIM Mumbai, where he graduated as a Gold Medalist, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Honors) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
A prolific innovator, Mrinmoy is the holder of 24 international patents.

He has 20+ years of track record in building and launching global technology platforms and solutions for customers worldwide.
Satya’s expertise ranges in Technology Leadership, Digital Consulting, including Business, Applications, Data, Technology, Infrastructure architectures, etc.
He has architected and launched platforms for Industry 4.0, smart cities, smart buildings, smart energy & utilities, smart surveillance & video analytics, smart logistics, etc.
Satya has won innovation awards along with funding for building platforms for smart buildings and digitalization.
Lee, Jung Wook
Head of Operations, SOLiD InspireLee Jung Wook started his career as a research project manager in 2012. Today, with his consistent efforts, skills, and persistence, he leads the SOLiD Inspire team as the “Head of Operations.”
Lee, Jung Wook handles account management, P&L planning, monitoring, strategic planning, support business strategy, and the overall business and project management.
His knowledge, realistic strategies, and keen focus on quality and efficiency has played an inevitable part in the growth of SOLiD Inspire.
Lee Jung Wook has managed research projects on budget & expenditure, management, contract management, and outcome data management in his career.
He is also experienced in leading the R&D planning team, business planning & managing team, and process innovation team.
Lee Jung Wook received his degree from Korea University (Seoul) in 2012.
Jamshed H. Dubash
Chief Business Officer, Solid InspireJamshed is a seasoned leader in digital transformation with over 30 years of experience across Industrial Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail/CPG, and Life Sciences. He specializes in leveraging advanced technologies like IoT, AI, RFID, and Machine Learning to create innovative solutions that drive operational excellence and growth.
As a visionary entrepreneur, Jamshed has founded successful startups, executed large-scale global projects, and built high-performance leadership teams. His strategic focus on innovation and customer satisfaction has earned him a stellar reputation in the industry. He continues to push the boundaries of innovation in Industry 4.0 applications—Smart Factories, Manufacturing, and Supply Chains—and Consumer IoT applications—Smart Retail, Smart Homes, and Smart Cities.
With expertise spanning Industrial and Consumer IoT, start-up leadership, P&L management, strategy development, mentoring and advisory, building leadership teams, sales and business development, program and product management, and negotiation and partnerships, Jamshed brings a comprehensive skill set to every initiative.

Jahangir Nakra
Head of Engineering, Solid InspireJahangir Nakra brings a wealth of experience in engineering leadership and innovation, with a proven track record of driving technological advancements across multiple sectors. As the Founder and President of Nakra Labs Inc., and in his role as CTO at TygaBox Systems, Jahangir has led efforts in product development and engineering solutions that have contributed to significant industry progress.
Previously, as VP of Engineering at Senaya and Founder & Senior Design Engineer at Cimaron Communications, he played a key role in the creation and execution of cutting-edge technologies. His earlier roles at AT&T Bell Labs as a System Architect & Senior ASIC Designer, and at Analog Devices as an IC Design Engineer, laid a strong foundation for his extensive expertise in system design and engineering innovation.
Jahangir also shares his expertise as an Adjunct Professor at The College of New Jersey, mentoring future engineers and contributing to the academic field. He holds a master’s degree in computer engineering from UMass and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from MS University. He has been recognized for his contributions to technology with 17 issued US patents.
Vinod
Head of Industrial IoT, SOLiD InspireVinod brings over 27 years of experience in electronic systems and software platforms, with a deep focus on emerging technologies in Industrial IoT. His expertise spans key industries, including solar, EV batteries, mobility, semiconductor systems, power electronics, and med-tech.
As the co-founder of Megamic Electronics, Vinod has demonstrated leadership in driving innovation and delivering successful solutions in the electronics space. His career includes pivotal roles at Texas Instruments, where he contributed to critical projects as Systems & Applications Manager and Test & Characterization Manager. Prior to that, he held a prominent position at Lucent Power System, serving as Lead Power Supply Designer.
Vinod’s extensive experience in engineering and systems development has positioned him as a leader in the Industrial IoT sector, where he continues to influence advancements in technology and product innovation.
